Strangely enough, the Wife-version of Okuu is always much more cuter and heartwarming than waifu-rized versions of other Touhou chars.

Could just be confirmation bias, but it seems that way to me as well.

I think there's just more waifu-Okuu material than for any other character. I think it helps that aprons look good on her though, and the maturity of the role is in contrast to and highlighted by her usual dtizy persona. Might also be just that her general appearance is just right for the role.

God I want a wing hug.
