It only seems to work like that for this one artist.

Seriously, like half of his tag is duplicate pictures, for no discernible reason.

They're the same image, it's just that this artist uploads his images to two different sites. Both of them shouldn't have been uploaded, just one.

Which most people know by now I think but no one wants to do anything about it.

More interesting/annoying is that, at least in this specific case, both uploads were by the same danbooru user.
