That weapon looks an awful lot like a macuahuitl, so I tagged it as such. I don't know anything about the source material, though, so I could be wrong there.

How is she not shredding her shoulder by carrying a macuahuitl like that? It doesn't have a sheath OR a not-sharp side, the obsidian spikes should be making ground meat out of her...

She is not carrying it on her shoulder. She is holding the weapon above it...
