  • POCCNR FEELING

Natalia Poklonskaya fan art, sort of.

Also special feeling, because I am easily amused.

UPDATE:  OK, this is pretty much everywhere now.  I pretty much just posted it here and on my twitter, so it's kinda weird to see it show up elsewhere.  If I had known it would pick up like it did, I wouldn't have done such a half-assed job on it, haha.

I apologize for the terrible google translation.  I can't remember what I wrote, but it was something like "Expanding influence of Russia during snow, it gives me a special feeling.  Is good."

Well frankly, I always considered Ukraine Russian territory from the beginning, and its not like the citizens there really mind Russian power. For the most part, it may benefit the rest of the world too because it lowers the chance of Ukraine falling to muslim brotherhood hands. And of course, the Ukrainian government kinda needs the Russians to bail them out of debt.

That being said, I love how the first link that comes up when you google her name is her anime version.

The citizens in the eastern part of the country, sure. The Ukrainians in the west seem to prefer wanting to be a part of Europe though.

And falling into the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood? Ridiculous. They don't even have a significant presence outside of the Arabian Peninsula and North Africa.

What about western Europe or places like Kosovo? But that aside, Ukraine wouldn't have a problem with that, yeah. They should still return some territories to 3 of their neighbours if they really have to play a country.

Anyway, the way this guy holds a weapon is too much of a fail (tho I understand it's supposed to look like holding an umbrella), although I like the drawing style.

Except no one offers them to be a part of Europe.
There's a joke about this subject:

    - When will Ukraine accepted into the EU?
    - Right after Turkey.

Well truth is that Ukraine was offered to be apart of the EU. Yet the former President of Ukraine denied the offer stating "The offer was not fair for Ukraine". That is when the Orange Protest started.

    EU offered Ukraine to joined.

Now can say that what I state can be argued and I most likely misunderstanding. Yet really someone in the government of Ukraine in the end of it pissed off a lot of people. That is what is clear.

I thought that usr234 guy wanted to say that no one invites the poor western ukrainians, because western "Ukraine" is an epitome of poverty.

    Aand no.
EU offered Ukraine something called "Association treaty", not the true membership in EU. Basically EU asks Ukraine to open up offering nothing in return. That is why the whole

The Association Treaties grant access to quite a lot of money (and technical assistance), and is always the first step in the actual joining process. They get upgraded into partnership treaties, then candidacy, and finally, joining negotiations proper can begin.

It still is not membership in EU, as Master Snipe was saying. As for possible joining, given EU didn't take any obligations, it's may be a very long way. Just ask Turkey.

    >... quite a lot of money (and technical assistance) ...
Do you seriously think EU will start pumping money into new dependent right off the bat, when they cannot afford Greece upkeep? Fun fact: according to this treaty Ukraine will be able to try to enter the EU markets only after ALL of it's industry is shifted from old USSR to modern EU industrial standards. Without any assistance.

The method is an old Soviet method of "low ready". In the US and I think the UK, we put the handguard on our shoulder and hold the butt. In the east it is the same position but the rifle is opposite. Personally it is stupid to hold it by the barrel since the muzzle is pointed at whoever you talk to and the rifle is at risk of being taken (since majority of the weight is on your shoulder rather than in your hand).

Long story short... have you ever been clubbed upside the head with an AK?
    It doesn't feel good.

Thanks for the info, I'm not much into this, but I've never seen that here in Poland, and I was in Russia, but maybe didn't pay enough attention.

Closing in on somewhere around 100k dead and who knows how many wounded, surrenders and desertions, not to mention a good chunk of their stockpiled hardware- to the point Russia is apparently having to get tanks and APCs from Belarus. Not to mention the loss of their reputation as a military power, or the brain drain caused by people fleeing conscription, or the economic cost of it all. No, definitely hasn't.
