Normally I'd put it up to Zun trolling fanon but judging from her scenario on the english wiki her character does seem a lot different from her appearances in MoF and SA.

Nah I think it really started in SA. It didn't come from nowhere. There she talks down to Marisa and is a greedy coward using her to fight her battles and do her dirty work, totally intending initially to cut Marisa out of their spoils.

Hisoutensoku introduced the kappa bazaars intended to earn money, which is confirmed in SoPM, which also describes her as timid, aloof, and thinks she's better than humans and other youkai, and when backed into a corner, her haughty nature comes out. IMO that's exactly like SA.

This is all exaggerated in HM, like a lot of other things in that game were, in keeping with the theme and gimmick. Such as Miko's over the top personality.

Given the turnaround from MoF to SA I don't believe MoF was ever intended to be her true personality.

Fanon just reduced her to spouting the whole 盟友 BS since MoF.
It's not too surprising to hear that she has a personality beyond that.
