Yes Youkai hunting props. Yes something other than seals and Reimu's gohei. Yes fancy equipment that are such an amazing topic but rarely ever developed.

The human village has a lot of youkai hunters who must have relied on props and weaponry to augment their abilities. Yet the only person we ever see with an arguably "holy" sword was Miko.

And not every other weapon has to be a sword. Nice lantern.
