Actually, Kaga is worse. Her plane capacity is higher and a bad sortie will run down your bauxite stores even faster than Akagi.

Nah, it's more of a joke because Akagi is usually the first carrier new players will get due to the early quest reward, and hence the main culprit of their 'bauxite mysteriously disappearing' issues. For that reason, Akagi is still known as the Bauxite Queen even though Kaga uses more.

I heard story about bug in early days that caused Akagi to eat more (like, 3 or 10 times) the normal bauxite consumption. Is it true ?

Yes this was true, despite the fact fact it was patched 'relatively' quickly, the horror of losing your entire bauxite stash in a sortie still remains a nightmare for many of the older players

when i first playing the game, i only realize about the bauxite when i do some sortie with many carriers (Souryuu and Akagi in it with another light carrier)

then after about 10 sorties and restocking.... *looking at resource bar because somthing looks hollow when it looks full at first*

no shit, where the bauxite go? *with horrific curious face*

I heard it was something along the lines of the bug would cause Akagi's restocking costs to be as if she'd lost all of her planes, regardless of how many were actually shot down (which included 0, ie no planes shot down)
