I wonder how much the Hoenn regional pokedex would include some of these Pokemon.
Its more than likely going to include evolutions of gen 3 pokemon, such as Roserade and Dusknoir. I suppose we should look at Heart gold and Soul silver for an idea on how these remakes of ruby and sapphire turn out.

They would only include Gen 4+ evolutions of gen 3 Pokemon in regular gameplay if they were including Gen 4+ Pokemon in regular Hoenn. If you go back to Fire Red and Leaf Green, the Zubat line could only evolve into Crobat after you got the National Dex.
