Pretty much anyone who paid any attention to E3 has heard those rumors by now. I wouldn't mind a female Link* but I think it's more likely that we're just being trolled.

*I am slightly less sure about making Zelda male in the event that they're genderswapping everyone, but I can't pin down the exact reason why.

Even if link looks like a completely different person, it's still link at heart. If it's true that it really is a female Link, then I think that will take the series into an interesting new direction. I'm all for a female Link!
