Probably I'll provide some little information before this will be translated.

Ikuta, Kuroiwa and Takeo (part of Kaga's air complement) scored Japan's first air-to-air victory on February 22, 1932 during an escort mission in Shanghai with their Nakijima A1N2 fighters, China. The Japanese shot down a P-12 fighter piloted by American volunteer Robert Short, Short was killed in the engagement.

CO. Kudou Shunsaku, Ikazuchi's captain until August 13, 1942, ordered to rescue the survivors from enemy ships.

Ayanami, her current captain was Sakuma Eiji, assaulted the approaching battleship-destroyer fleet, she sunk 2 destroyers, damaged additional 2 destroyers, 1 sunk afterwards, and contributed for damaging USS South Dakota BB-57. CO. Sukuma was survived the engagement and was transferred to Tamanami.

Rear Admiral Isaki (KIA) ordered a torpedo attack against the American Fleet during the Battle of Kolombangara, CO. Sato Torajiro (KIA), ordered to shine Jintsuu's searchlight to the American fleet to attract fire. Jintsuu withstand all the attacks while the rest of the destroyers countered with their torpedoes. The destroyers sank 1 destroyer and damaged 3 cruisers and they managed to land 1,200 troops at Villa. CO. Sato was posthumously promoted to Rear Admiral rank.

CO. Aruga Kousaku, Yamato's captain during her last mission, went down with her. CO. Aruga was posthumously received a rare double promotion to Vice Admiral rank.

Should the captains be tagged ?
The picture doesn't say the identity of the fairies

At Pixiv, it was tagged 艦娘×実在提督, so I was assuming that their captains (aircrew on Kaga's case) were the fairies.

Now, I felt like I wanted to create a pool of Kanmusus together with their captains/crew/commanders.

Is Freddy actually implying that "we Nippon-jin saved people while you let all our guys die"?

Also, miracously, this is the first time americans aren't depicted as abissal monsters in his comics.

If you ignore Ikazuchi's entry, this strip is about casualty report. It doesn't talk about what American did.

Yeah but why adding that out of place info in the center of the image?

The only thing that came to his mind when making the strip ? Though the best way to be sure is to message and ask him about it.
Besides, the girl got no survivor.

Is it wrong if the artist put the achievement of a ship in his comic?
Also, put off that cynical glasses, m8.
