Ahh, keeping plastic bags the easy way. I always fold it till it becomes a triangle shape.

(Pre-TL)I'm curious in what situation a plastic bag could be used to soothe an upset child(?), without going somewhere morbid...

Aww, c'mon guys. Here some awesome "how to" and we, who lack moonspeaking skill, still don't know "how to"...

I do this too, but not so much for bags as for fabric from old clothes sterilized and re-purposed as cheap emergency triangular bandages. Folded the same way you fold an American Flag.

This works so well that when I folded up the accumulated plastic shopping bags we'd amassed over a few years in this apartment, the space taken reduced from half of a kitchen cabinet to a third of that size, and I scored major brownie points with my wife. Thank you, Gensoukoumuten and Kanako-sama!

(Although, living in Oregon, it's getting harder to get these plastic bags -- the city I live in has banned plastic bags for grocery stores, and the state has moved to a policy of requiring a 5¢/bag payment at the store, so the good stores are upgrading to heavier-duty, reusable bags. Ah, well, sic transit gloria mundi.)

When you put aside shopping bags, you just ball them up or bundle them together, don't you? Then the amassed shopping bags take up a bulky position, don't they? With just a little bit of extra effort, those shopping bags will be reborn wonderfully compact and convenient! I'll impart this great divine wisdom to you all. Learn it carefully and put it into practice!
I hear this is not the only way in this world to fold these. Do not scorn this as being all there is about how to fold shopping bags, but devote yourself and master your path.
Wisdom of the Gods' Daily Lives How to Fold Shopping Bags
③Bring both sides to the middle, folding it in thirds.
    ⑥Lovely, is it not!
⑤The bottom end should become like a pocket. Tuck the handle end into that.
This way, they will store in a box or drawer, and they will not be unwieldy even if you put them in your handbag. The important thing is to make them look nice!
④Fold down the handle end so the bottom end pokes out a bit past it.
②Fold up about 3-4 cm of the bottom of the bag twice.
①First, spread out the bag and smooth it neatly.
There, there, throw up into this.
Lady Kanako! Lady Suwako says she isn't feeling well!!
