  • 赤城さんでもここは譲れません 【つい日刊桐沢69/鎮守府】

    赤城さんたちと焼き肉を食べにいったら楽しそう、見ているだけでも幸せになれそう。そんなことを考えながらタイムラインを眺めていたら「きょうは串の日」だというツイートを見つけてしまいました。

    串モノは食べた量が、すぐに目でわかるのがいいです。なんだか達成感があります。でも赤城さん&加賀さんならふつうの串焼きでは物足りななさそう(桐沢の艦隊の場合です)。そんなわけでこんなことになってしまいました。

    In Brazilian churrasco, the meat is grilled and the waiter brings the whole skewer to multiple tables, cutting slices in front of the customer, or just leaving the whole piece. Because the waiters are always moving between the tables, it's called "churrasco corrido" (running/hasty barbecue).

    When made at home in a brick grill, the grilled chunks are piled up on a tray and everybody takes whatever they want, possibly the whole chunk. The leftovers are then used to make "carreteiro" seasoned rice in Southern Brazil.

    The more traditional people do it in an open fire and leave the meat grilling for hours until it gets tender.

    Churrasco is a famous dish from Brazil. It's where meat seasoned with rock salt is grilled and the waiter cuts it up with a knife and brings it to your table.
    When you get up to Akagi-san's level, even the eating method becomes unusual. I'm worried how the Brazilians would think if they saw her eating churrasco straight off the skewer like this.
