To be perfectly fair, if the compass's function is to find Abyssal ships, then it's right like 9/10 times. A few times being "Kinosei da" (must be my imagination).

The only reason players rag on it is because it just doesn't take them to the boss node(or the path they want to take). But again, if it's to find the enemy, then that means it's actually right almost all the time then.

You know that sensors can receive false signals right? Like taking sun light as ultra red ray or some thing. I have only read about it once so don't really remember though.

Hence, it doesn't mean the compass finds the enemy with more hit on than misses.

All things considered, to actually locate the positions of the Abyssals in the vast oceans, the "compass" is pretty accurate. I'll have to agree with Tetsamaru here. We players just don't get the boss node we want sometimes, which is not what the "compass" was built to do.

Fairies and magic aren't the exact same thing. This one made by fairies but run on science. Different enough if you ask me.

Yeah that is how the compass work in the Pirates, unfortunately Jack's desires is so scatterbrained that compass turn into RNG mode

Then... In some cumbersome way of beating around the forest, this compass and captain Jack Sparrow's compass are on the same level...?

Thinking about it, it's true. You can pretty much control the route in some maps while in some, you can't quite do that.....
