With a damn fine mature air to her. (At least, in the top right panel...) Nothing wrong with having the "slim" body type.

And as lovely as ever. Nothing wrong with being flat. Though I agree with her on how can someone spend so much money for 2-3 hours event.

Not that flat to me. But she looks good though. I have to admit that.

The Wedding Money Pit, baby. But at least Ryuujou isn't a bridezilla.

    The in-laws.
From the time I had talk about this with friends and parents, it seems to point to that direction.
The married couple want a simple party with family and friends they actually remember the face. Then route the budget to something more important such as house mortgage.

But there will be those who want to show off to their peers. They want to show their son is rich enough to held such a grand wedding party (or their daughter manage to get a rich husband). Or to show they have so many relations.

Oh, and I also don't understand spending millions for staged shots in those "pre-wedding" albums. Obviously the photo album gathered from the years you are together worth a lot memories more than those posed pictures and videos.

The eyes in the upper-left panel are how you can tell it's RJ-chan.

Re-reading it and having had to help out with my cousin wedding, I can really say Ryuujou didn't get it. A wedding doesn't last 2-3 hours. More like 3 weeks. Or even month(s).

All the formal greetings, of course the 2 families know each other well enough already. Then the asking for permission to marry the bride from her parents. Continue to taking greetings and congratulations from friends and neighbors. Then gifts to the bride's family. Then the big day. After that taking the bride home. Then a week later, first greet after wedding to the bride's family. Some people even have to greet every week for the whole month. So, 2-3 hours my*!! Each one of those takes a day if not more already.

That's just how it goes in VIetnam, I don't know if Japan has more or just the same amount but 2-3 hours is just an excuse, a pathetic one. Besides, a marriage is likely to last for a long time. Even if there's a divorce.

I think she's referring to the actual ceremony, and the costs and planning associated to it.

Pretty much the same for our chinese marriages, Demundo. But I think indeed it's about the ceremony like Jusu said.
And hell it costs a lot, but even for the actual ceremony it's freaking long. For my uncle, early in the morning the groom have to go to the bride's house, give gifts and all, like to the sisters who don't let you see the bride unless you give enough under the door(well, it felt more like a game but it doesn't seemed to be only us), then start some ceremony somewhat in the house, then go to the actual wedding ceremony, do some photoshootings and all, and when the evening comes, go to a restaurant for a big party(well, more like a banquet). We're not rich at all, and yet we had to spend thousands and thousands of money for that. If my memory serves me well, there was pretty much around 30000€ spent for that at least.
But well, I guess as long as they are happy...
From a pragmatic pov though, I'd spend a bit less on the actual ceremony and have some money spared for moving and living together, or go for a honeymoon, something. Even for one day, that's one hell of an amount of money spent.

    Ryuujou (29) and Yuubari (30)
You say that, but you’ll be one of us too. Isn’t your wedding coming soon ?
You’re born in Yokohama and raised in Yokosuka though
Yeah, yeah, thanks for the meal
Seems like the already-married groups are having fun
What the hell, there’s too many things to make decisions about!
    Yeah… well
Well, marriage is showing a preparedness for a man
It’s really difficult, isn’t it? Such as looking for a priest.
    Yeah… we know that feel…
    Size ?
Ryuujou, you’re here too ? You look fine yourself
Jeez! What are you saying!? That's embarrassing!
Ryuujou (29) Engaged. Will have her wedding in two months.
Ah, sorry to bring this up
    Colour ?
    But actually, rather than that
I’m worried if he’s really fine with someone like me
    Cake, real or immitation ?
Why would you spend millions just for a 2-3 hours event ? That doesn’t make sense for a Kansai person!
I think he is really charmed by Ryuujou to ask for marriage
So, Admiral has that kind of feeling for Yuubari ?
So, Admiral, you have anything to add? Such as a male’s perspective Yuubari
    About that…
And each cost in the tens of thousands. I don’t get it at all
After that, Ryuujou’s ceremony is one fine wedding
    Yes of course
We've got a preparation meeting every week these days
    Eh?
We won't ask for a marriage unless we’re sure that it can’t be with someone else
Marriage blues, huh. But you'll get over right away after you're done.
