I know people were upset about Miho's portrayal here but I really don't see what doctrine Nishizumi-style Panzerkraft can have for fighting capital ships at naval ranges using tanks alone.

its because the original Nishizumi is a calculating one that doesnt blindly charge without any plans

Four year old rebuttal - a Maus couldn't even hope to inflict meaningful damage on a Nagato class battleship, whereas the rounds from 41cm (16.1") naval rifle would flip a Maus over just by landing nearby. Hell, Nagato carried 8 12.7cm dual purpose guns as part of her AA suite, she could just sit there and take the piss not using her 14cm or 41cm guns at all.
