The story I heard about sinking Bismarck had a lot more to do with British biplane torpedo bombers, and a lot less to do with The Ring rejects crying blood while firing what appear to be plasma cannons, though...
They played a critical role in the sinking, as they crippled the Bismarck's rudder so the British ships that had been led horribly astray could catch up to it. A ship that is rudderless in enemy waters is dead at whatever time the enemy bothers to dispatch it with whatever means they choose to dispatch it, so it's really more the rudder that kills the ship than the actual last blow.
Besides, the joke I was trying to make had more to do with the completely over-the-top "crying emo blood tears plasma cannons" part.
although the British probably were gonna eventually sink it by gunfire/torps the wreck of the Bismark is in too good of a state it has no visible sinking damage caused by something like what happened to the Titanic's stern section were trapped air results in implosions and stuff which showed that the Bismark primarily sank because of being scuttled not by enemy action which would had let air out very fast and pretty much avoid the fate that happened to Titanic's stern section.
Finished up some missing parts. I would try to style some of the more dramatic text but I haven't got the knowledge to do that...

Freddy does mention the torpedo bombers (or rather, one of the bombers) crippling Bismarck's rudder, in the top left paragraph.
And man, I got chills and goosebumps when translating the second-last paragraph. The full force of the Royal Navy against one crippled, immobilized battleship. They were bloody pissed.

'twas more the fact that if that ship made it into the Atlantic the damage she and Pudding could have done could have put us out of the war. That was only potentially averted when she was damaged, if she could make it to a French atlantic harbour with a large enough drydock she could be repaired with impunity while constantly covered by the Luftwaffe. Not an option, so we sortied everything after her (including pulling force H out of the mediterranean) to put her on the bottom.
