Kaga said she aims to be 大将 which is both the rank of Admiral, but can also mean boss; which is why Akitsu said she had ambition.

Next, Akitsu said 権力を握る which is to seize power, but has the verb 握る, meaning to seize but also to grip, which is also the verb used for making sushi (specifically nigiri sushi, the one with the fish on top - not a roll).
