Last stage of E-5(Hard) is absolute hell on earth. The only way they could have made it worse is if they added Re-Class as a SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKER.

But getting spitroast by 2 symbiotic also does the trick...

And we were complaining that 2 symbiotic is hard enough already...

E-5 is terrible, fuel maelstrom, evil idol, bomber rain, and then this all at once!

I think this was on par with AL/MI E-6 in terms of boss difficulty... I mean at that time we only had to face 2 BB Himes but this time it's worse...

So how did BB-symbiotic Hime get the "Dyson" nickname?

And this is why I switched to ANYTHING than HARD mode.....

Everyone complains about E-5... I can't beat E-2 last stage in easy!!! All my ships are around the level 32 line and had any CLT (read Kitakami) until the same boss node gave me one. :/

Did you try Diamond formation at boss node? If you try to fight the E-2 boss straight on you'll be wrecked, especially at your level because Wo-flagship is protected from all side, air superiority and all that stuff.

Bitch wrecked my entire crew without as much of a scratch the first time I ran in with line ahead rather than diamond and most of my girls were in their high 60-90s.

Haven't though about that before, even when that formation saved me at the preboss E-1 node. The real problem is that Ta-Class battleship keeps absorbing all damage, so I can't sink that empty bar Wo-Class flagship. Anyway, I won't flood this forum with advises and take a look at the wiki. I just wanted to steam off some frustration here.

My first event and a lot of rare drops, even if I can't reach E-4 there's no reason to complain.

I understand. The first events always tend to break your balls when you're a newbie, with everyone getting all these new ships and finishing the event within minutes while you're still struggling to get through the first area on easy mode.

The thing that makes my blood boil is when you finally wipe out everyone of the ships BUT the flagship and the bitch just escapes on red. RNG-sama is cruel mistress...

If not wrong, if you use the built in translator at twitter, it will translate her name to Dyson

Edit: asked some japs at twitter. Apparently, it's due to her endless strength and power that sweeps away our fleet, and that caused her to be compared with Dyson vacuum whose slogan is "never lose suction"

welp, first day on E-5 and spent the first 5 run on it, i'm just looks like scratching her armor a bit, and the resources are keep decreasing in such of a nightmare speed....

I don't think you can even damage her without a Type-1 AP shell, wouldn't bother trying without it.

I tried cheesing the map with CLTs, but that dead ends you at some point. And subs tend to get wrecked by Idol-Oni early on.

Could've been unlucky on my part, but hey, getting screwed by the RNG is SOP.
Super-Dyson has like 99% hit chance or something, I've never seen her miss.

Hell this entire thing is RNG-based. I think Night-Battle crits are the way to go here.

Checking in Pixiv and NicoNico dictionary, it seems to refer to her ability to suck your attack away from her flagship, seriously hindering your progress.

Probably like fleet girls' flagship protection, only she stay on place and all attack come at her.

Although that too is a double edge. When it comes to destroyers and light cruisers, Night Battle really saves ass. But for battleships and such, not so much. My Haruna went into night battle and had a cut-in, only to hit 19 dmg on a light cruiser before the rest of the enemies went and nuked our ass with extreme prejudice.

She'll absorb your attacks, and still not losing her own to mow down your fleet

Just like Dyson vacuum cleaner. Never lose suction power.

I guess I just got lucky to have beaten E2 with just a level 30 fleet (in fact, the average level of that fleet was around 27). Of course, I owe it to Fusou who landed the killing blow on the last shot of the sortie during night battle. Now I'm stuck in E3, desperately trying to scratch some paint off of Evil Naka-chan. //off-topic rant is off-topic.

After seeing this... And remembering that hellish E-6 in this current event (Spring) I say that the Aircraft Carrier Hime as escort is even worse.

Spring was a joke compared to the Winter event especially E-5. Spring 2015 event was on par Fall 2014 in terms of difficulty, and in some ways even easier.
