It's probably a perspective trick. Momiji's on forefront while Aya and Suika are farther away, but since Suika is in giant mode it appears as if she's the same size as Momiji here.

Yakitori goes great with alcohol.. Jokes aside, perhaps it's something to do with Tengu being respectful towards Oni, hence Momiji decided to do nothing about it, and Aya don't resist for one bit..

I wouldn't call that a "trick", because things further in the distance are supposed to have decreased saturation, and that is not happening here.
