Muppo.. You shoulda drain some of the oil in the can first, add the mayo, and mix em up with a fork.. I also like to add some sliced spring onion.. It's kinda funny when i saw a theme with my nickname in it..

While true, that doesn't solve the issue of sneezing and unloading 3/4 of a bottle of mayo into the can. (Also, in-water master race)

In my case, if I had the feeling to sneeze, I will put down the bottle first to avoid the aforementioned accident.

I keep the oil to give extra taste for some spaghetti. Works even better with smoked herrings in oil.

I never understood the appeal of tuna and mayo. While we are on that, I never understood the appeal of chicken and mayo sandwich as well.

I love tuna salad. But I usually use a bit of sugar with it.

Wouldn't have been a better idea to pour the tuna into a bowl and then add Mayo? Also she can just scrap the mayo off which isn't too bad considering what she usually go through.

Well, I never understand the appeal of mayo in general... In my mouth it taste like: oh you took something good and put something ugly on it.

Mayo is one of the most polarizing condiments I know of. A couple of my best friends can't stand mayo at all.

As for the mayo… it’s good, in a way that I believe the local here use chili paste (to cover up the unpleasant taste or less than fresh ingredients).

In my case, I add them to lightly cooked vegetable. It adds smooth texture and cover the slight bitterness.

Reduce the number of dishes to wash. IINM, she will have to clean the can or else it will get rejected during the trash day.

Japanese mayo has a different taste to US mayo, though. It defaults to full egg.

I go through a lot of mayo, myself - goes great with fried rice.

I really need to try making some home-made mayo one of these days.

Huh... is Japan really that strict with trash?

For me at least, we don't have bags for recycling, I have to take and separate it into bins they put out twice a month.

The Obaasans watch you put the recycling into the correct bins. They will know and glare accordingly.

Depends on you local council though, on how strict they are.

I only have 10 recycling categories... but you can dump as much food as you like into the burnable trash bags, they don't care.
