It's actually delibrate by the artist. Instead of saying "nandemo nai" which is a common phrase to saying "it's nothing" she says "nandemo nui" in the original text.
So I guess I'm going to be the 'hater' that says this does absolutely nothing for me and that I vastly prefer unflappable deadpan Shiranui. This honestly just completely defeats what makes her enjoyable to me. We have enough shirking violent to choose from already thank you very much.
I prefer my Shiranui with a glazed expression, a sharp tongue, and ample bloodlust simmering just below the surface.
I can't tell if that's a typo, autocorrect silliness, or good ol' fashioned Freud, but that's the funniest version of "shrinking violet" I've seen yet. Took me a while to figure it out.
To me it's been the other way around. Generally Shiranui bores me. I get most of my flatfaced deadpan out of Kaga, though she doesn't tend to be too violent.

No worries sir everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I just hope people don't thumbs you down just because they can't take a differing opinion.
But glazed expression...has your Shiranui been 420-blazing or something :V

Autocorrect, I think I probably skipped adding the N when I was typing. I'll admit to kind of just going 'close enough, spellchecker will make this right' at times, bad habit admittedly.
Anyway I just feel like the game already has more then enough girls of the constantly blushing or cutesy sort already. So I tend to favor the ones that are different and more stoic, quieter characters in general are a type I like. I like Kaga too, for somewhat similar reasons although she all too often transforms into a shy little princess at the slightest whiff of romance too.
