Is that some OC ,,do not steal" character, or another boss in new game? Ridiculous surname suggests roots in Polish/Slavic daemons or gods. Which is actually kinda cool, slavic mythology in general is interesting and mysterious. Surname itself basically means Smith. Like, Otoha Smith. It's so baffling.
Well, she does looks nice. Yup. But whole character sounds Mary Sueish. Power of controlling divine AND physical matter... so, she can imagine out gods and nuclear bombs, and can also destroy them. While there's loads of powerful characters, this OC is clearly MORE potent. And that surname, let me tell you, it sounds RIDICULOUS. Otoha Kowalska sounds like child of Polish and Japanese imigrants; she gets Kowalska surname from father, and Otoha was idea of Japanese mother. You just don't name divine, mystical beings like that.
Also I kinda hate how she was portrayed after Saint Mary. Okay, it is important religious figure in Polish history and in general; but wasn't she supposed to be Slavic, PAGAN in nature? Christianity =/= Pagan. Instead of bringing out Polish/Slavic figure, it's just basically another flavor of Byakuren - Saint Mary flavor. When you consider that Church destroyed all informations about pagan gods... We basically know next to nothing. While Church adapted loads of daemons into beliefs, it also made people forget about old gods. That's Gensokyo worthy material! Not some Saint Mary shmurck.
For example, Baba Yaga. While she's now commonly portrayed as evil hag; witch living in house on chicken leg, eating childrens and so on... Historians thinks she was VERY important figure in slavic mythology. Great Mother, ruler of animals and forests, keeper of wisdom. She was downgraded to evil being to scare childrens with; because of Church. And because elites didn't want God to be woman. But people - at least in Poland - still choose Saint Mary. Saint Mary is such important figure, because Baba Yaga was important for pagan slavs.
OP, first, use proper sources. If you can't track down the full source of an image, do a reverse search using Google to enter the image URL manually or an extension that does it for you. That often helps. Also, deviantart isn't needed as a tag.
Second, I'm restoring touhou+original as tags. It's customary to tag an OC with its series, whether it's Touhou, Pokemon, whatever. That goes for popular characters like sendai hakurei no miko to those lesser known.
