She was wearing Sukuna's clothes over her ribbon and didn't notice?

Bonus 4koma from Forbidden Scrollery vol 2, where Shinmyoumaru gave Reimu the robe as a gift. It's sized for inchlings, however.
    Also, this recent strip.

How is possible that Sukuna's kimono is so precious, what kind of market is there for diminutive clothes? I think Rinnosuke messed up...

I imagine the skill and detail with which such a small, delicate item has been made make it valuable, like a finely sculpted statue. Perhaps the materials it's made with are valuable too.

If we go by ULiL, the threads Sukuna uses are heavenly fabrics.

Then they really are valuable. But Reimu is better served only selling one or two more, lest they lose their rarity. And their value.

Assuming the customers pay in cash Reimu should sell as many as possible. Sure, the next will be worth less than the previous one, but she takes the money.

If you think about it, it is pretty much how economy works all the time.

They're only valuable because the material is prized due to its rarity. The more that's out there, the steeper the drop in value. Unlike something that has a more functional use like a vehicle, for example.

It's why diamonds are kept artificially scarce despite our ability to mine a lot of them, or to make rhythm from scratch - if they were common, people wouldn't shell out hundreds for them. You can get away with charging more for something that's either better functioning or which has a certain brand attached... But even that has limits, especially in a market as small as the Human Village.

One of a kind is so expensive it's priceless. 2-5 is still considered such a high market value that it's still considered priceless. More than that would be reasonable for a collector to purchase. You also need to take into account the use of the item and why. A kimono this small would be used for the antique marriage doll set. The doll set run quite high at base value. The clothing at pristine quality would run higher than the most expensive set. Also each kimono design would only have 2-4 copies at worst to keep the quality look. An adult kimono is usually minorly cheaper than that of a child's. So with that it isn't unheard of that the worth for Sukuna's kimonos to be a king's ransom.

Let's just assume that there's a rich dude in the village who shells out for the chance to huff dresses worn by midget princesses. Or Marisa's telling pork pies to make a fool out of Reimu. Again.

Can't be held back by common sense!

That lack of common sense is why Sanae continually loses to Reimu and Marisa. ;)

Plus, the economy in the Human Village isn't big enough to support that rich guy buying more then one or two Sukuna outfits. It would be best to sell maybe three total, then wait ten or fifteen years before selling more...

But we know Reimu will crash her own long term prospects due to shortsightedness. She just can't play the long game, unlike a certain youkai sage.

You all are assuming that people besides Rinnosuke both know the clothing's value and desire it: the simple truth is that the people who know its value probably can't afford it or don't want it, whilst the villagers are almost certainly ignorant of such things...if they don't believe everything associated with Yōkai is bad luck in and of itself.

Worse, all the exceptions will try to steal or swindle it, as the concept of buying things seems to be taken as a sign of weakness.

The Kobito loosely translates inchling. As a race they themselves are not youkai and so do not frighten nor harm humans in any way. They are just considered extraordinarily small people.

Kobito seem like the eastern equivalent of the Cobbler Gnomes, don't they?

This one alone would be worth enough to build a house!

    What's up with that kimono?
    .... This is unimaginably valuable!
Eh? You want another kimono? Sure! I'll make as many as you like!♪
She'd gone to the trouble to make it, so I'd be ashamed to treat it poorly...
    Hm...
    Aaah...Shinmyoumaru made it for me.
