Oh! One of those bladeless fans!
I want one!

Nowhere near as fun as the regular bladed fans.

I have two fans, one blade-less, one bladed, and my little nephew loves the shit out of the bladed one. Sticking paper into it, taping ribbons to it, yelling into it, watching the blades build up/lose speed, spinning it by hand (I took the safety cover off); he never gets tired of it. The blade-less one... he stuck his hand through a couple times trying to figure it out then never played with again.

On that matter, I heard that they say the bladeless fan isn't as powerful as the blade fan.

Since the "bladeless" fan is just a bladed fan that has to blow the air around some corners and through some ducts, it's not surprising.

we need a horror/thriller movie with bladeless fan!

The staff of a Yodobashi Camera in Sapporo did this a couple of years ago with those expensive Dyson fans.
