I've long since stopped trying to make reason of this particular Suika. I think she just has powers as the plot demands.

Well, it's canon she can split herself into smaller copies. So it's only a little bit of a stretch to deem the ability to detach parts of herself as plausible at least.

And the "censoring" is pretty similar to kouji's cat ears and tail set with the tail connectors covered.
