I don´t think it is Mikuru, but Asakura...
because she was ordered in the new light novel to protect him and seemingly she does this by appearing behind his back everytime like some kind of a Stand from Jojo´s Bizarre Adventure.And yeah, this creeps Kyon out a lot!
