could somebody please explain all the connections and disconnections between fate/stay night & tsukihime & even a few to the melancholy of haruhi suzimiya
i'm particularly confused about all the wierd warping of the characters' relative ages... i've watched all three of these animes, and they seem pretty straightforward and separate... so what's going on?
... Suzumiya Haruhi has nothing to do with Tsukihime or Fate/Stay Night.
Fate/Stay Night and Tsukihime take place in the same 'world', but the primary characters have no relation with each other. That is, Shiki is not related to Shirou, but they both live in Japan. 'The Church' and the various mage brotherhoods exist as tertiary characters in both Tsukihime and Fate. They're more like part of the background or the origin of character. Similarly, the same rules of magic apply between Tsukihime and Fate (Especially the sex for power transfer thing).
ah...in the original games sex for the win. the animes only covers one side of the stories :P heh heh.
fate/stay night & tsukihime are also made by the same company; typemoon, so ya, it's only natural for people to compare the two being of the same "universe" i suppose. (although you probably new that much)
for haruhi...i think right now it's being crossovered with everything just because it's so popualar. :)
