Hah, I had to resort to putting clock away from bed once my brain learned to turn off the alarm without waking me up. Now it just takes every ounce of willpower to not flop back in the bed, but at least there's a chance :3
I had a digital clock. Growing up on the farm, waking up at 5am was a rough point of existence for me.
My granddad came up with an outstanding augmentation to the alarm clock to get me straight out of bed whenever I had to turn it off
He armed a mousetrap and balanced it on the snooze button
...yeah, that'll work.
From the time I was a kid old enough to have an alarm clock - instead of my mother waking me up in the morning - it was across the room from my bed. Still is, actually. So the whole hitting the snooze button bit never got wired into my mornings.
Lately the snooze button on my phone doesn't work on me at all - I just sleep through the entire thing. First alarm is just a regular alarm. Second alarm set to ring ten minutes later is a series of high pitched beeps. Third alarm is Amon Amarth, and fourth is Motorhead and whiplash, and often times I'm pretty much dead tired that I sleep through all of them.
What if you move your alarm clock away from your bedside?I don't get woken up when it's cold.Sakuya'sSince you will have to get out of bed once to turn it off, that should make it easier to wake up..... Do you really get out of the bed?Aren't there any ways to wake up early at this time of year...?
