It is nice to see Graf getting along nicely with the other carriers though, seeing as she's the only ship of her class and type in all of the German navy. She must've been a bit lonely before coming to Japan.

Considering as Germany never even bothered to finish building her, and Hitler basically ordered her mothballed and eventually scrapped when she was 95% complete, she basically spent the entire war in drydock with nothing but a 40-man maintenance crew and no planes. So yeah, "lonely" is an understatement. She probably has the least reason of any of the German ships to miss her homeland.

And horrifyingly unlucky, too. In addition to being mothballed for pretty much the entire war and being ordered scrapped, she hit a mine and sunk while being towed to the scrapyard.
