She was originally regarded as Yuugumo class ship before historians discovered that she was the last of the Kagerou class ships (Or so I recall, but I'm not an expert in such matters). And she was also in DesDiv 10 (alongside Kazagumo and Makigumo), which helps to blur to the issue even further.
