I blame them for promising that everyone eventually will get Kai Ni. Though with some artists not doing any visible work (Atago & Takao's, Aoba's) or saying that they didn't want to do anymore work (Suzukaze & Samidare's)...

At least it means that someone out there apprecate their characters and want to see more of their work. You know what's worse? Making new characters and putting effort into designing them only for those said characters to end up rather than being praised ends with people complaining about them.

:( Well, when nobody really appreciate your characters and even as far as cut them out of the BD version of the anime, it does make you want to give up.

actually he called it quits way before the anime even aired... maybe even earlier. devs probably appreciated Ichiso (main shiratsuyu class designer) more? i'm kinda hoping he takes over for SuzuSami's kai ni, but I highly doubt it. going to be pretty sad if Samidare's the only starter without kai ni.

About Samidare's artist: Didn't he just inactive? Even his pixiv haven't update for a long time.
