A lot of Western literature had equally long titles a long time ago that was shortened when referenced, e.g., A Modest Proposal, Two Treatises of Government, etc..
The amount of insanely long anime/light novel titles we've been getting has been nothing short of hiliarous. And I thought "My little sister can't be this cute" was long when it came out.
You say long, but I don't think it's that long. Look at it, it only takes 11 kanji, 5 hiragana to write down, more than just a little space on a book cover, enough to write all to the side with 2 column. And it's actually shorten already, if you use basic Japanese to explain the title, the translation might be the same but the original sentence is much longer.
