  • We Have Come Now To The End

Bonus round in NT10: Kamijou Touma vs. Othinus. Here, Touma embraces Othinus as she disappears due to the effects of the fairy spell.

So we come now at last to the end. This would mark the first time since I stopped "overlaying" the colors on top of the black and white illustration, that I used the illustration's own lineart for the colorjob and not me using the tedious tracing method for creating the lineart.

Here I have added a surprising few things for this. There 4 different versions here because I was unsatisfied with the "glow", as you will, of the illustrations. You have three different versions here for one's enjoyment. Thematically, as this is the end of this long count of days where I poured out non-stop colored illustrations from the world of ''Toaru Majutsu no Index'' in intervals of 3-4 days, and is the final illustration of NT10, I added the "Ende" illustration at the end for my own satisfaction. Why not then. I also added the background I made up for this illustration that is woefully not fully scene due to reasons. It would be a waste of a perfectly good background that took two hours to make if I didn't put it up.

Both the bench and the sunset there are based on real world images, so don't go saying that I made it all up, just that I need some help. Anyway, I think at least I say I'm a rather decent "Impressionist", if I'm using the term correctly, am I not? The background is larger however than the original image I based it on since the illustration needed that sunset to be really "below" or "down", so though I based it on a photo, much of it is still made up. This "big" version doesn't appear here since I want all the images' height to be consistent. Sorry.

I tried to a bit of chiaroscuro here, but I suck, so here we are with nothing of that sort.

Gonna take a big rest after this.
