Why are there two moons?

This post is the first of this pool's fourth chapter in which Renko and Maribel are caught up in the Endless Night Incident (aka the game Imperishable Night). The big red moon is the corrupted moon created by Eirin and Kaguya.

That's why I said it's super effective on Renko, Renko's personal ability is that she can immediately know the current time and coordinate by looking at the night sky. Staring at Udonge's lunatic moon for her is like accidentally gouging her eyes out with her own glasses instead of just poking them.
