Evangelion was the first anime series I ever owned(followed by Berserk), I was about 8 or 9 years old, and they were badly subbed VHS from china town. Since then I have probably watched the series at least once every 2 years or more, and I for whatever reason even wrote papers on it in college. So if I could work on the Live Action adaption of an anime I wanted, Eva would be the one haha
