This comic is highly inaccurate, everyone knows that the only thing Japanese DBs are good for is hovering over DDs to cancel out their Romulan cloaking device and trying to bait out AA power ups from noob cruisers.

From several accounts, if you know how to setup your landbases, and go to use air strike boss support instead of the usual shelling support, you can fucking end the boss before the normal shelling phase even started. Then again, due to the nature of the game, you could have Fusou luck and get nothing.

Everyone thinks that she is Missouri's counterpart while others believe that she's the corrupt representation of Arizona that sunk during the attack or probably the combination of the two since she's armed with triple 16 inch turret.

Although my experience with the landbase wasn't this insane on e7, there is one thing that's true:

The planes were the real MVPs.

Technically, these aren't dive bombers though, these are land-based medium bombers.

It's too hilarious I felt sorry for Central Hime. Still doing E-7 right now though.

Yeah, having land-based bombers really helped out on E7. Six waves of bombers rekt the boss node to hell (though I used primarily torpedo bombers) and aerial boss support. Ended up shutting down the whole enemy fleet even before first shelling.

Central Hime on E6, though. Poor girl was usually the first to die during aerial boss support.

Cleared E7 Easy this afternoon. Perfect S rank it purely through air power, with LBAS killing Central Hime. Air superiority.

Cleared it a minute ago, with only 33 buckets remaining. Did get Harukaze when grinding down Central, so that's nice. Terrible luck with the air side, never targeted Central enough...
