She seems more embarrassed than angry in the first panel so I'd say this is an improvement! And I would accept it without hesitation, too bad it will never happen to me.

I would have opted for the "don't open umbrella and join under Bono's umbrella anyways."

As mentioned by Shade above, I wouldn't like to waste a perfectly good umbrella for such selfish wishes.
