To clarify, that particular line is a catch phrase of the Japanese version of Optimus Prime (aka Convoy). It is dubbed in Japanese as 私にいい考えがある, and is quite the meme among Japanese fans because bad stuff happens almost every time after Prime says that line. So, almost always not a good idea, death flag, tempting fate, etc. etc.

(I believe the original line in G1 was "I've got an idea", but it wasn't used that often, so no memes were spun off it among the English fanbase.)

Compare Michael Caine's character in the original The Italian Job: "Hang on a minute, lads... I've just had a great idea."

Which actually works pretty well with the accent a lot of translators give Suzuya in English. You can see her turning to one of her sister ships and yelling, "You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!"
