Really, I think my interpretation of Suzuya's line in 4th panel is different. Like, shouldn't it be more along the "a lot going on for men" line? Because, it's "aru" not "iru". But I can't work it out for a wording i can satisfy with. How troublesome.

It's a set expression of sorts, and には makes it unambiguous that it is referring to "many types of men". Paracite is correct here.　

When making existential statements, ある 　can sometimes be suitable even for animate beings. Here, the ある　has the meaning of the kanji form 在る, and not the usual 有る.

"A lot going on for" would be something along the lines of 「男の人は引く手あまたであるのよ」 or 「男の人は利な点がたくさんあるのよ」 or 「男の人がいろいろあって忙しい」 (depending on which meaning of "a lot going on for" you mean) instead.

Further 'counter-intuitive' examples you might see very often are ｢タクシーがいる」 (because there's a driver inside it and it's capable of movement) and ｢子供がある」 (because it's a 'conceptual', general statement about the existence of children in someone's family). Also compare the following:

「彼には子供がいる」 "He has children (as living, breathing, animate individuals)."

「彼には子供がある」 "He has children (in the general, depersonalized, existential sense)."

There is a subtle difference in nuance there. It would be slightly awkward, for example, to directly follow up the "aru" statement with describing the names and ages the children, since they would no longer be in the general, depersonalized sense.

And I really want to marry most of LesAdmiral's base now. Including the Admiral.
