    It's an original picture made in SAI and Photoshop, according to the source link. It's NOT traced, and while the artist probably mostly used paths in photoshop rather than pencil or brush tools, it still doesn't qualify as vector_trace. Those are basically images traced over scans.

    So yes, apparently we do know better.
