That's a Fire Golem from Zero 2, I think. There's only one in the entire game, and you only face it in a sidequest. It's basically just a different version of the very very first boss in Zero 1.

I'm plaything through for the first time, And I'm pretty sure there's more than one of them, though as I remember it, most of them are hidden. I'm pretty sure you will see at least one because of one of the major stages having one of each element in a row.
