The anime being the anime, Meowth running into an Alolan Meowth might lead to a Day in the Limelight episode for the guy -- after all, he worked so damn hard to go bipedal and suddenly there's this breed of Meowth that does it naturally? Sparks are gonna fly!

My guess is that Alolan Meowth's going to be made into some type of love interest for Meowth that loves to tease and belittle him for not being royalty like she is.
