Why create unnecessary pools when we already have the gameplay_mechanics tag?
I agree the gameplay_mechanics tag should be enough, but I think you've been here long enough to not forget that the tag does not only cover Kantai Collection unless the kantai_collection tag is added to it which many newbie users will not do.
Also, many of those users believe it's a tedious way to do mixed tag searches to look for hilarious images like this which is why many would want a pool when there are enough images and there's a theme to have the pool created.
It's not that I'm against the idea, but really all you do is "we should create a pool for..." only to host less than fifteen posts there if lucky. The number of tags a post could have is overwhelming, almost to the point you don't add the most basic ones in some of them ("comic" is a perfect example). Still you keep proposing pools you'll forget they were created because "we should create a pool for..." again. There isn't even four posts about Ooyodo silenced and you already proposed 3 different names.

Not...really. Anybody can create a tag or pool, and neither has a minimum post requirement. In fact, we have tags instead of pools for a decent number of memes, so that may be better. I dunno.

Yes, anybody can create a pool but I think you already know that creating one without the knowledge of any moderator or your fellow senior members can cause it to be mentioned in the "Pointless Pools" thread and getting it marked for deletion.
