Didn't think anyone would mention Indy. That'd be nice to see for a guest HMS carrier. Though if you want a more colorful history than Warspite, look no further than R38 Victorious ( aka USS Robin ;) ). She was all over the place.

Victorious has a connection with Bismarck (two weeks after being commissioned), hit the Japanese from both sides of the Pacific. And did runs to Malta and Operation Torch.
Though her American partner would be Saratoga, rather than the more famous survivor, Enterprise.
