    Lusamine

    The beautiful Lusamine is the president of the Aether Foundation; An organization that works in the Alola region and conducts various research projects. Residing on Aether Paradise, the artificial island that they created, their goal is to care for and provide shelter to Pokemon that have been hurt.

    That seems to be the general consensus, and that all those "research projects" are actually a bunch of experiments being conducted on pokemon for whatever she's planning.

    It's so obvious given how the other 2 subbosses also consisted of a mad scientist-man and a woman literally named "Wicke(d)".

    Though I have some weird hunch that Gamefreak will throw a curveball and have them be the same old boring good guys. Because bad guy conspiracy twists wouldn't be safe for kids.

    I'm afraid so but one can dream (or hope some really, really good fanfic writer will take up the challenge). Still, I can understand the theories that are flying around, with the batch of newest reveals, the similarity between Gladion, Lusamine and Lillie, and the apparent image of purity of Aether Foundation (even some environments with a clean, Applestore-like design).
