Shibafu's art in KC don't look that great. Fubuki-classes are too plain in most people's opinions, plain as potatoes I guess ? Or maybe it's the shape of the faces.

Eh, I think they look fine. They are pretty simple and similar though, and I think a lot of people don't like that.

I think the potato joke is related to the popular Mr. Potato Head toy. All his/her art looks the same only with different eyes, mouth and hair... just like Mr. Potato Head interchangeable parts.

Their plainness is their charm point, I think.
