Ayanami apparantly doesn't want Shikinami joining team braids. Hair pulling seems excessive though...

Maybe she wants to get her hug in before Shikinami.

I translated the commentary on the other post:

[73 Years Later...]
"Today, the 10th Fubuki-class destroyer has arrived at the naval base."

Isonami: "Uranami-chaaaan..."
Shikinami: "Uranami-nee! There's so much I want to tell you... but first, Isonami-nee belongs to everyone!"
Ayanami: "Uwaaaaa!!!"
Uranami: (What on Earth am I getting myself into?)

So, probably more "almost heart-warming" than "heart warming"...

It seems that Shikinami's actually trying to pull Isonami away because she doesn't want to share her Isonami with Uranami, and Ayanami's trying to let the reunion happen.
