    Image googling, it does seem near, although that has a big wheel at present.

    It also looks like Eastbourne a bit, although that looks shorter; and Blankenberge, although that's more bulbus; and Brighton, both on this Wikipedia page.

    Of course, Britain has a National Piers Society

    At least the ones by me, it tends to be a good spot for fishing and its a neat way to get a nice view of the ocean that isn't along the beach, with unobstructed visibility.
