Wo-chan sure enjoys her fishing expeditions if she's taking out the boat again this year.. But it is her business.

Who else would you trust for the freshest seafood? I'd buy from her.

Arms akimbo she seems ready for a Hopak Cossack, or a Kazachok dance; [ I tried to find a Cossack Dance video, but the costumes were kind of flashy: anyway, sudden squats and high kicks ] * Plus she's got that sombre slavic brooding down to a T: "Roll on, thou deep and dark blue Ocean – roll !". Plus she looks like Hibiki's twin...

    .

How about the sweeping music of Black Raven, as here sung by the German Ivan Rebroff ? Or Katyusha ? Or Gounod's Fantasy on the Russian National Anthem, God be with the Tsar And much by Tchaikovsky and Mussorgsky..
    .

    • Actually the most interesting video found was sedate, but maybe from the 1930s: the Caucasian Cossack lezginka Like another world...

The moment I saw these two together, I immediately thought of the movie "The Hunt For Red October" where the titular RUSSIAN submarine uses an experimental propulsion system called a Caterpillar.

Thank you all, we Russians aren't aware of that.

I prefer the Song of the Volga Boatmen sung by Kharitonov - matches this much more.

It's a Cold War thing. I bet Claverhouse was thinking of the opening of the movie when Sean Connery was taking the submarine out of docking for their first deployment.

You can find it on YouTube if you look for "hunt for red october opening scene" and feel like listening to badly accented Russian.
