    I Hear It's Tights Day

    The difference between tights and pantyhose is their denier (a unit of linear density, fineness or thread/fiber thickness): leggings under 30 D are pantyhose, and those at 30+ D are tights.

    I think we're dealing with some loan word confusion; the artist may have meant to use パンスト rather than ストッキング. Regardless, ストッキング is what he used, so thus it is translated. :-)
